As owners of Alpina Ski Shop & 940 Snowboards, we are passionate about skiing, snowboarding, and introducing others to the sports we love.

Our story actually began on the slopes. We met while skiing at Hunter Mountain in New York and dreamed that someday we would own a ski and snowboard shop of our own. Then we heard that Alpina was for sale. We took a chance on that dream, purchased the turnkey business, and opened our doors on November 27, 1997. The rest, as they say, is history!

What started as a small ski rental shack has grown into the full-service shop we have today, but one thing has never changed: our commitment to our customers and our love for the sport.

As we celebrate 30 years in business this winter, we want to sincerely thank all of our past and present customers, friends, and families who have supported our small business and helped make our dream possible.
